About the Role
Empowerment Support Solutions (ESS) partners with families and Regional Centers to deliver individualized support in accordance with California’s Lanterman Act. Independent Living Support Specialists provide one-on-one assistance in home and community settings, helping participants build real-world skills like budgeting, housekeeping, safety awareness, and transportation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (paid or lived experience).
- Reliable transportation & smartphone for documentation and communication.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification required (or willing to obtain within 30 days).
- Spanish or bilingual skills are a plus.
